Hico local Hudson Skaggs returns to the Green Canoe on Saturday, March 28, from 6-8 pm. And, Two Clay Birds will be serving up hot, fresh empanadas!
Shane Hanchey Crawfish Boil
World Champion tie-down roper Shane Hanchey and his wife Taylor roll into Hico with their Bo’s Boil-N-Geaux food truck for the second annual Green Canoe Crawfish Boil. Live music, a bounce house for the kids, good food and cold beer, right in downtown Hico! Ashleigh Lamport & Adam Hull kick off the live music, from 4-6 pm, followed by Tommy Patterson from 6-8 pm.

From Comanche, Texas, Tommy Patterson will be performing live on Saturday, April 4, from 6-8 pm at the Green Canoe in historic Hico as part of the annual crawfish boil featuring Shane Hanchey.

Still Stuffed Saturday
Kick off the holiday weekend with Still Stuffed Saturday at the Green Canoe. Also known as “Sweatpants Saturday,” the Saturday after Black Friday is the perfect time to get the whole crew out of the house for a relaxed day of fun featuring a bounce house for the kids, hamburgers by Hico Fire Department from noon-4pm, football on the patio big screen all day, live music with Hico’s Blayton Carpenter from 1-3 pm, and plenty of cold drinks for the grown-ups. Head over to the Green Canoe to unwind, laugh, and celebrate with friends and family in true small-town style.

PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
All month at the Green Canoe, a $5 donation to Hico Animal Control gets you a big ol’ pumpkin, carving tools, and a shot at the $200 prize. We’ll pick the winning pumpkin on Halloween!
