Inside the Green Canoe, you’ll find men’s apparel, footwear, hats, accessories and gifts from some of our favorite Texas and outdoor brands such as Poncho Outdoors, Howler Bros., Burlebo, and Orvis.
Our taproom offers Texas craft beer from Real Ale Brewing (Blanco), Altstadt Brewery (San Antonio), Martin House (Ft. Worth), Lucky Brewing (Dublin), Bishop Cider (Dallas), and Maverick Brewing (Stephenville), along with popular domestics, cider, wine, seltzers and nonalcoholic drinks.
Grab a drink and head outside to our spacious beer garden, featuring nearly 2,000 square feet of covered patio space, outdoor bars, a stage, fire pits and plenty of room to relax.
LIVE MUSIC AND EVENTS
Green Canoe hosts live music, community gatherings and special events throughout the year. Most public events are family-friendly and free to attend unless otherwise noted.
FOOD AT THE GREEN CANOE
We don’t operate a kitchen, but outside food is always welcome at the Green Canoe. Pick up something from a nearby Hico restaurant, bakery or food truck and bring it to the beer garden.

PARKING
Free street parking is available around Green Canoe and throughout downtown Hico.
